What is it?
Fractal Noisier is a totally free preset for creating unique textures and warping effects in Adobe After Effects. It works by stacking multiple Turbulent Displace effects with identical settings to “super” warp your footage or a Fractal Noise texture, all controlled from a single set of customization controls. A dropdown menu lets you quickly switch between finished preset looks while keeping everything fully customizable.
Use Fractal Noisier to create swirly procedural textures, animated displacement maps, and abstract backgrounds that go beyond what Fractal Noise or a single Turbulent Displace can do on their own. Play with the controls to see what you can create, or use the presets to instantly get stylized results like warped VHS distortion, impressionist painting effects, flowing ink bleeds, mixing paint, and flowing silk.

The 8-Bit Animation Effect is compatible with Adobe After Effects 2022 and Premiere Pro 2022 (and all later versions). Works in both Windows and macOS. No plugins required.
This template has been universalized, so it will work for users running After Effects in other languages.
The After Effects template includes comps in both HD (1920x1080) and UHD (3840x2160). The MOGRT is HD only, and has a duration of 30 seconds. It can't be extended, but the 8-Bit Effect tutorial shows a workaround for longer clips.
