What is it?
Repeller is a totally free preset for repelling and attracting layers in Adobe After Effects. Once installed, you'll be able to access it any time inside of After Effects to automatically push layers away from a "repeller" layer that you designate.
Repeller is a 3D effect that will work on both 2D and 3D layers. Use the controls to adjust the X, Y, and Z Force separately. Adjust the Radius and Falloff to tweak the repel or create interesting new behaviors. The Repeller preset is a useful and creative way for motion designers to move layers. It costs nothing – so add it to your arsenal of tools and give your animations a little extra push!
The Repeller effect is featured in the Network template, which allows users to animate complex networks of dots and connecting lines. Watch the video here.

The 8-Bit Animation Effect is compatible with Adobe After Effects 2022 and Premiere Pro 2022 (and all later versions). Works in both Windows and macOS. No plugins required.
This template has been universalized, so it will work for users running After Effects in other languages.
The After Effects template includes comps in both HD (1920x1080) and UHD (3840x2160). The MOGRT is HD only, and has a duration of 30 seconds. It can't be extended, but the 8-Bit Effect tutorial shows a workaround for longer clips.
