What is it?
A free, loopable clip with VHS static or analog TV noise, including VHS hum audio. Composite this clip over your footage to imitate an old, damaged VHS tape. For a variety of VHS looks and custom VHS fx for your footage, check out the Creation VHS Effects template.
Details
This free After Effects project includes both HD and 4K comps, and is compatible with Adobe After Effects, versions 17 (2020) and all later versions. It works in both Windows and macOS – all you need is After Effects.
This effect uses CC Ball Action – a 3D effect on a 2D layer. It's compatible with the camera's Position but does not support depth of field.
This effect has been universalized, and will work in After Effects running in any language.
