What is it?
The Ink Bleeds & Blots template allows you to create custom ink or watercolor effects in Adobe After Effects. These effects can imitate ink spreading on wet paper, drops in water, and even Rorschach (inkblot) tests.
The ink effects are all done procedurally (in After Effects), so they are completely customizable. Easy controls on a "Control Layer" allow you to quickly customize the colors, shape, softness, location, texture, and more. Control where your ink bleeds simply by editing the shape's path. Additionally, the included "Ink Reveal" effect allows you to add elegant reveals and transitions in your videos. It's flexible and fun to use, and you'll be returning to it for many projects to come!
Details
This animation preset is compatible with After Effects 2020 (v.17) and up. It works in both Windows and macOS – all you need is After Effects. The included ReadMe.html shows where to install the file on your hard drive. Watch the above video for tips on achieving different looks.
