Sticky Particles Effect
The Sticky Particles Effect for After Effects places glowing dots or points on your footage that follow the motion of the shot – like hundreds of glowing Christmas lights wrapped around every surface in your scene. It includes twelve preset looks to choose from, ranging from sparkling dream-like fireflies to an animated stippling drawing on paper.
Using only the native tools in Adobe After Effects, this template is 100% procedural. You can customize the effects with intuitive slider controls. Use the Sticky Particles Effect to turn ordinary footage into something artistic, hypnotic, and impossible to look away from.
- This download includes the After Effects template (compatible with Adobe After Effects v.2022 and up). Works in both Windows and macOS. No plugins required.
- The After Effects template includes comps for both UHD (3840x2160) and HD (1920x1080). Other resolutions will work – just change the dimensions of the comp and its Solid layers.
- Instructions are found in the video tutorial, and inside the template.
- This template has been "universalized", so it will work in After Effects running in any language.
