What is it?
The Endless Fractal Effect unlocks the potential of the "Fractal" effect that's built into After Effects. This often-ignored effect has confused and frustrated motion designers since the early days of After Effects. But this template incorporates new controls that are more user-friendly, and allow you to create animations that would be impossible with the standard built-in controls. Now you can create infinite zooms on spirals and intricate patterns in the Mandelbrot and Julia sets. Animate the colors, the shape of the fractals, and new fractal generation as you zoom in. The Endless Fractal Effect is also available as part of the Creation Trippy Effects package, which includes dozens of trippy animations and psychedelic looks for footage, which you can customize in After Effects. Details
Works on both Mac or PC. No plugins required. Compatible with Adobe After Effects, v.17 (2020) and all later versions.
This template has been "universalized", meaning it will work in After Effects running in other languages.
This template includes both HD and 4K versions of each comp, and the effect will work in any resolution. Simply change the comp dimensions in the Composition Settings, and the Solid layer dimensions that the effect is on.

The Endless Fractals template is not a plugin, so there is nothing to install. Rather, it's an Adobe After Effects project file, commonly known as a "template" because most of the work is already done, and the user needs only to make their own adjustments. This template is compatible with version 17 (2020) as well as all later versions of After Effects.
